As of 10.11.25 state service ‚bwCloud-OS‘ will have a new web site layout!

• All content has been reviewed, re-structured and significantly updated and will become available with the new layout as of Monday, 10.11.25

‚bwCloud‘ becomes ‚bwCloud-OS‘:

The OpenStack-based Cloud-Infrastructure (IaaS) for higher education institutions in Baden-Württemberg known as ‚bwCloud‘ has been given a new name: bwCloud-OS

Background for this change is the constantly changing and increasing availability of potential cloud infrastructures for higher education institutions in Baden-Württemberg. The currently known name of the state service ‚bwCloud‘ will therefore be used to represent all cloud infrastructures that are being offered in Baden-Württemberg. In consequence the OpenStack based Cloud Infrastructure that is currently known as ‚bwCloud‘ will as of today be offered as state service ‚bwCloud platform OpenStack (IaaS)‘ – in short: ‚bwCloud-OS‘.
