Classification of storage types[wiki_storage_1]
The following assignment of storage types to use cases is only intended to cover frequently occurring cases.
| Storage type | Usage |
|---|---|
| Image | Use the images provided and further automated methods for personalization. |
| Volume | Create a data carrier to provide an instance with data for processing and to temporarily collect results. |
| Extern storage (S3, NFS) | All data that (1) is of a personal nature, (2) serves as a backup copy, (3) cannot be restored or (4) can only be recreated with great effort should be stored here. |
